Clinical Expertise

Specialty Areas

Dr. Moore provides compassionate mental health care to children, adolescents, and adults, with deep expertise in complex pediatric health conditions. The heart of his clinical work is helping young people navigate chronic pain, headaches, anxiety, stress, sleep difficulties, and the challenges that come with living with a medical condition. Grounded in the biopsychosocial model, he uses specialized, evidence-based health psychology approaches that address the whole person — mind and body together — so that comfort, confidence, and daily functioning can grow.

Outpatient Care

Dr. Moore brings hospital-level psychological expertise to the comfort and convenience of an outpatient private practice. He partners with youth, caregivers, and adults to reduce symptoms, build practical coping skills, and reclaim the activities and relationships that matter most, so life gets bigger, not smaller.

Services offered

Children & Teens with Chronic Pain and Illness

Dr. Moore treats headaches and migraines, musculoskeletal pain, fibromyalgia, and pain related to other medical conditions. Treatment focuses on non-pharmacological health management skills, coping, and functional restoration, such as returning to school, sports, sleep, and friendships, helping to boost comfort as your child gets back to being a kid.

Sleep Difficulties Across the Lifespan

Evidence-based behavioral sleep medicine, including CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), is used for treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Most sleep problems respond to structured, short-term treatment.

Adults with Chronic Pain and Chronic Illness

Living with persistent pain or a chronic health condition affects every part of life. Understanding current research brings the same evidence-based, function-focused approach he uses in pediatric behavioral pain medicine to adults ready to reclaim energy, sleep, and daily life.

Children, Adolescents, and Adults

Dr. Moore utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches to assist individuals in managing anxiety, depression, and stress across the lifespan. By providing individualized interventions and empathetic support, Dr. Moore facilitates the development of resilience, effective coping strategies, and sustained mental well-being.

Professional Philosophy

Pain, illness, and sleeplessness are more than just physical symptoms—they ripple through every area of life, affecting mood, relationships, and functionality. Dr. Moore provides a warm, collaborative, and science-based approach rooted in the belief that reclaiming meaningful activities is the primary engine for recovery. His focus is not just on symptom management, but on restoring function and rebuilding a full, purposeful life. The guiding principle of his practice is simple: as people reclaim value-driven activities, pain decreases and comfort increases.
